Wells College Club
The purpose of the Well College Club of Minnesota (“Minnesota Wells Club”) is to promote a spirit of friendship among Wells men and women; to cooperate with other Wells clubs; to promote the welfare of Wells College and to foster an interest in all matters rightfully of value to college students.
Founded over 110 years ago, with over 100 members, The Minnesota Wells Club is the oldest and most active Wells Alumnae/a association in the nation.

In addtion our club maintains two scholarships that support current Wells College students that are from Minnesota.
Minnesota Wells College Club Scholarship
The purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to qualified students at Wells College whose domicile at the time of being awarded the scholarship is the state of Minnesota.
The Florence Welles Carpenter Scholarship
Endowed by one of the MN Wells Club most beloved members, the purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to qualified students at Wells College whose domicile at the time of being awarded the scholarship is the state of Minnesota.
Join Us for Fete 2013 - A Celebration of Lisa Marsh Ryerson!

for the 112th Wells Minnesota Fete in support of our Minnesota Wells Club Scholarships and to honor the extraordinary accomplishments and contributions of
President Lisa Marsh Ryerson ’81
Our special guests, again this year, are Wells President Lisa Marsh Ryerson '81 and her husband George Farenthold. We are very excited to have them both of them at Fete this year and are looking forward of getting an update from Lisa on the goings on at Wells as well as what her plans are for her retirement.
Please come join us for an old fashion summer picnic to celebrate and say good bye to President Ryerson!
Enjoy traditional barbecue food favorites, sip some wine, beer, freshly made mojito’s or refreshing lemonade, mingle with Lisa and George, other Wells Alums and friends of Wells. And when the sun goes down roast some marshmellows over the firepit! This is a family friendly event so kids of all ages are welcome as well!
There will be outdoor games for all ages, we will have a pinball tournament to raise funds for our scholarships, we even have a Wii and Xbox to keep the kids and kids at heart entertained and if Cherie’s backyard can swing it (and if we are not flooded out) – a dance floor to trip the lights fantastic under the stars….It should be some party!
Again this year - NO FEE FOR ADMISSION!! So please bring all your friends!
Raffle prizes include Twins, Vikings, T'Wolves, Lynx tickets, MacKenzie Childs Pottery,gift baskets and many other silent auction prizes. Proceeds of the raffle benefit the Minnesota Wells Club Scholarships.
